Who we are
The Fine Cents is a YouTube channel about how companies make money (youtube.com/@thefinecents). The Fine Cents Uploader ("the Uploader") is an internal software tool that the channel owner uses to publish the channel's own videos. Contact: contact@thefinecents.com.
YouTube API Services
The Uploader uses YouTube API Services. By using it, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
What data the Uploader accesses
- It accesses only the YouTube channel of the account that authorizes it, which is the channel owner's own account.
- It uses the scopes needed to upload videos and to set their titles, descriptions, captions, thumbnails and publishing schedule, and to read the channel's basic information (name and ID) to confirm it is connected to the right channel.
- It does not access, collect or store data about viewers, subscribers, commenters or any other YouTube user.
How data is stored and shared
- The authorization token is stored only on the channel owner's own computer. It is never uploaded to a server, sold or shared.
- The Uploader does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind.
- We do not share any data obtained through YouTube API Services with third parties.
How to revoke access
Access can be revoked at any time from the Google security settings page: security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. Revoking access stops the Uploader immediately; the locally stored token is then deleted.
Viewers of the channel
This website has no forms, accounts or cookies. If you watch the channel on YouTube, YouTube's and Google's own policies apply.
